Ms. Kern's Studio

 

Emily Kern, soprano, is a graduate of University of Houston’s Moores School of Music with a Bachelor of Music, Vocal Performance. She performed in many productions with the Moores Opera Center, including the role of Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte, and the title role in the collegiate premiere of Anna Karenina. In 2014, Ms. Kern sang the role of the Attendant in George Friedrich Handel’s Susannah with the Grammy-nominated chamber ensemble, Ars Lyrica. As an avid choral singer, Ms. Kern has traveled to competitions in Germany with the Moores School Concert Chorale, and has sung with many professional ensembles across the country. Ms. Kern looks forward to starting her voice studio at Friendswood High School and Nolan Ryan Junior High this fall.
